IHAZ2GITJOB

My grandmother gave me that card once I graduated college in September. Hahahaha, best card ever. Last month, I graduated college. This month, I passed my CRT. On Saturday, the 11th, I passed my RRT written & RRT Clinical Simulation exams. All that's left now is the job. I'm awesome and proud of myself. :]

It appears that I haven't updated in a little over a month. I don't think AJ is interested in making beats to go along with this thing anymore. I don't know how long IHC will last. Not that it even matters, considering it has no visitors. Hahahah, not a total loss for anyone if it were to disappear. Ehhh, we'll see. This is it for an update. Until next time... over and out.

PS: I still can't believe how fast this year is going by. Halloween coming up? I don't know wtf I'm doing.

Who ya gonna call?

I have not seen the movie Ghostbusters in forever. FOR - EV- ER! But fear not... I am watching it right now. Woohoo, VH1. Haha. Whaddup to...

Bill Murray.... who played Dr. Peter Venkman.
Dan Aykroyd... who played Dr. Raymond Stantz.
Sigourney Weaver... who played Dana Barrett.
Harold Ramis... who played Dr. Egon Spengler.
Rick Moranis... who played Louis Tully.
Ernie Hudson... who played Winston Zeddmore.

They were a good cast for this movie, right? Exactly.

With their 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Ambulance that they named "Ecto-1" to get around the city... they are a "professional paranormal investigations and eliminations" service. I don't know about you, but I would like to have a nuclear accelerator "proton pack"... just incase I come in contact with a bad ghost in my life. I want to be prepared! Shit, give Sylvia Browne one of those packs. Yes, she's the one always on Montel's show, haha.

If there's somethin' strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS.
If it's somethin' weird and it won't look good, who ya gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS.

Remember the voice Dana heard when she opened her refridgerator and she saw a shining pyramid in some infinite world in there? Hahah, and then the "Gatekeeper" -- some demigod -- possessed her body. "THERE IS NO DANA, ONLY ZUUL!" I laughed at that part, sorry. And Moranis' body also gets possessed by a beast called, the Keymaster. OH NOES! Don't put them together, because something bad will happen. Then towards the end, the Gatekeeper basically tells them that whatever they think of in their head... will be chosen as the traveler to battle the Ghostbusters. Venkman (Murray) instructs them to think of NOTHING, but Ray (Aykroyd) just couldn't do that. WHAT DID YOU DO, RAY? He thought of the least harmful thing, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man! Hahahaha. But don't worry, *SPOILER* the Ghostbusters save the lives of millions at the end! Classic early '80s comedy/sci-fi movie.

Remember Slimer from the cartoons? He was so cool. I happened to come across a really cool chemistry website that goes step-by-step on how to create slime with polyvinyl alcohol. The dude(s) that created the website do all sorts of scientific experiments. The finished outcome of their slime makes me think of that Nickelodeon Gak.

Now... if only I could call the Ghostbusters to fix my broken headphones. :[

MP3's coming soon!

Damn VCR

You know how I mentioned that I'll still be able to watch stuff I enjoyed on the normal channels? Particularly So You Think You Can Dance? Well, seeing as I have school in the evenings... I used to record the show and watch it when I came home. Unfortunately, I found out that the cable doesn't run through the VCR, so I couldn't record. I tried everything before I left on Wednesday for school. So, I think it can be done... if I plug the cable into the VCR, reprogram it so the channels run through the VCR to the TV... and then record. I dunno, something like that. We'll see if I can figure it out this weekend. Now, this wouldn't have been a serious problem if Wednesday & Thursday nights weren't the last two episodes of the finale. :( So... on my way to school, I called up my aunt. I asked her if she could record it for me, on both nights, on her DVR. She said she would, but I felt kind of bad because she said she had to delete something off of her DVR to fit my show on there. Woops. What a tragedy! Hahaha.

Reading through that whole paragraph, you're probably laughing at the fact that my ass still uses a VCR. Just like AJ did. Hahah, but whatever, man. I'll update to a DVR or whatever later. That's like someone who still bumps cassettes on an ill ass LaSonic ghettoblaster, while everyone around them has iPods. Speaking of, I don't even own an iPod... and I still buy cds. Haha. OffTopic: LaSonic mated the two to create the i931 (I seriously want this, and then I'll buy an iPod)/end OffTopic. Nice analogy since VCR's are soooo early 2000s (or late 90s? I don't even know anymore). Haha. By the way, excuse the horrible, unprofessional picture above... and the mess that is my carpet (dog hair & the white specs of paper at the left corner).

PS: Although I don't really finish school until September 10th, I graduate today. :]

CAAAAAABLE GUY!

The future is now! Soon every American home will integrate their television, phone and computer. You'll be able to visit the Louvre on one channel, or watch female wrestling on another. You can do your shopping at home, or play Mortal Kombat with a friend from Vietnam. There's no end to the possibilities!

November 2004 - the month we got rid of our satellite dish. Normal basic television channels all up until now. We just got cable... within the last week. In every single bedroom. The cable guy had to come back Monday morning to drop a line in my room and my brother's as well. FTW! OH, CABLE... I HAVE MISSED YOU.

So... I know it's kind of silly to be excited about getting cable again, but you just don't understand. People would say, "Did you see -insert show here- last night?" "Hahaha, I love -insert show here-! How did you NOT see it?" "You've never seen -insert show-?!?!" Of course not, because I was watching reruns of Scrubs and Friends. Haha. No longer, my friend. No longer. Goodbye Roseanne every single day. Goodbye Scrubs every single night (still good though). Goodbye Cheaters every single night... you get my point. Haha, it was me watching the same shows every single day, at the same exact times... all... the... time. So yes, it's exciting having more than 10 channels to choose from - goodbye to only having channels 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 21, 45, 51, 61. :] And my television wouldn't even get channels 3 & 5 for some reason, so I had even less to work with! However, this won't stop me from watching what I enjoyed watching on the normal channels - So You Think You Can Dance?, House, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, etc.

Anyway, let me tell you how this blog came about. It was created because my friend AJ also got excited when I told him I have cable now too. Weird, right? I said to him, "I HAZ CABLE! Not cheezburger." He told me to create a blogspot documenting my suh-weet viewing adventures. But wait... there's more! He's going to be apart of this wonderful experience by providing some suh-weet tracks - sampling tv shows & movies relating with my blogs (and so on). Try to hold back all your excitement. IHAZCABLE is the future.

I now present the very first IHC track by AJ. It kills me every single time I play it, hahahaha.
